The Story
Flexible coworking space and event venue in Amsterdam
ROOM4 is our first comprehensive circular project where we created and managed a space that functions as a blank canvas that our guests can adapt to change with our moveable furniture. Why not change the interior every day?
It seemed like a great idea to us and we created everything, absolutely everything, on wheels. And then we gave complete freedom to our guests.
ROOM4 is not only co-working. It is a thriving community of young entrepreneurs, startups, freelancers and local professionals where we have been endlessly inspired by each other, learning and growing.
At the moment, this project has been closed since 2017, but the ROOM4 concept is alive and we are actively applying it in our projects today. ROOM4 is a concept of flexibility, versatility and sustainability.
YOUR SPACE THAT CAN ADAPT TO CHANGES
The Product
We created the project that we ourselves wanted. At that time not many spaces offered sufficient flexibility and adaptability.
We covered this need by making all the furniture on wheels, changing the interior every day for new tasks. Such a concept works best for temporary spaces, where it is difficult to say how the space will look tomorrow.
That is why we have chosen to focus 90% of the budget on furniture and equipment, and not on walls and floors.
